Washington High School, which served as Tulsa's African-American high school during the segregation era and is now a magnet school, was recently ranked as the 58th best high school in the nation by Newsweek. Northeast of downtown, near Tulsa Airport, lies Mohawk Park, which features the Zoo and the Oxley Nature Center, along with the Air and Space Museum.
