The most widely recognized account suggests that the editorial was published under the provocative headline “To Lynch Negro Tonight.” However, no known copies of the text are available. Notably, that portion of the editorial page, along with the front-page arrest story, was mysteriously excised in subsequent microfilmed versions, as reported by Krehbiel.
OUR MISSION
Is to help bring back and bring forth our renaissance. The African renaissance, as it expresses itself in the United States, is a historical process that has finally begun to mature. The social motion of Africans in America is a spontaneous mirror reflection of that process. Our organization believes in a material unity of will toward a common goal, and Little Africa Oklahoma is the brand to express this need.
